The Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), one of the leading supercomputing centers in the nation, supports cutting-edge research in nearly every field of science, powering the discoveries of tomorrow.Working in collaboration with artists and researchers, TAAC offers the opportunity for exploration using advanced visualization tools to the digital media, arts and humanities communities.

The ACES Visualization Lab is home to “Stallion,” the world’s highest-resolution tiled display at 307 megapixel resolution. Stallion provides users with the ability to perform visualizations on a large 15x5 tiled display of 75 widescreen, flat panel monitors. Other technologies include a stereographic 3D display and a 4k digital theater projection system.
